Delta Real Estate has become the owner of the Holiday Inn and BelExpo centre in Belgrade.

The Holiday Inn Belgrade is a 4-star hotel, offering 140 guest rooms and 7 conference rooms. Belexpo center is a multi-functional space adjacent to the hotel, with a total net of 2500sqm.

“Even though the Holiday Inn has good business results, our intention is to improve its operation to a maximum and provide even better service to its guests,” said Zivorad Vasic, Delta Holding Vice President and General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Belgrade. “Belexpo center has a huge untapped potential in the event organization, which perfectly fits Delta Real Estate strategy to further develop congress tourism in Belgrade which is not seasonal but year-round business.”

The acquisition of the Holiday Inn and Belexpo center signifies continued expansion of Delta’s operations in Serbia in its strategic businesses: agriculture and real estate development. Delta has also further strengthened its cooperation with InterContinental Hotels Group, which is now carried out through three brands of this hotel group. Delta is the owner of the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza in Belgrade and of the future InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana, whose opening is planned for spring 2017. Delta is ready to commence the construction of InterContinental Belgrade, for which layout and site plan have already been prepared.
