Presentation of the 8th Delta Holding Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Delta Holding has published and presented its report on sustainable and responsible business for 2016 in Crowne Plaza Hotel. That is the 8th CSR report whose accuracy, at the request of the Company, was examined by auditing company KPMG.

Last year the Company invested 1.64 million Euros in socially responsible projects. Thanks to it, aid was provided to 67,155 people within 427 humanitarian activities.

“Our duty is to see the challenges the society is encountering and to initiate actions for resolving them. That is why we included the topics of sustainable development in our strategic plans. In that manner we create value both for us and the society. The results are measurable and shown in our latest report”, said Marija Desivojević Cvetković, Delta Holding Senior Vice President for Strategy and Development.

Last year through the project “Plantation for Future” support was given to 11 social enterprises operating in the area of agriculture. Within the project “Plantation for Future grants and practical education were given to 45 students of agricultural schools. The Company’s employees took care of 36 children in the project “Third Parent”.

Delta Holding presented its second endowment, “ISKRA” Centre for Sports and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities to the City of Kragujevac. This Sports Centre is fully adapted to persons with disabilities and is the only of this type in Serbia.
